Watch several Twitch streams at once
Following a group stream, a tournament or your whole mod team's channels? YappyChat shows up to four live streams together, each in Twitch's own player, with the chats right beside them.
Up to four streams and six chats
- Four streams side by side, each with its own volume, in Twitch's own player.
- Six chats in split view, under or beside the streams. Drag a stream onto the side of a chat to move it, onto another stream to swap them, and drag the divider to share the space.
- Close the last chat and the streams fill the window on their own.
- Up to 50 channels open in tabs, with live ones marked, so you can switch which streams are showing.
Shared chat and Stream Together
When streamers share their chats, YappyChat shows which channel each message came from, with that channel's picture and badges, and lets you open any of the other channels with one click.
Skip ads on channels you subscribe to
The streams play in Twitch's own player. Sign in once when you log in to YappyChat, and Twitch skips the ads on channels you subscribe to, just as it does on twitch.tv.
Smooth on ordinary PCs
YappyChat pauses its own animations while a stream is open, can keep emotes still, and lets you switch graphics acceleration if a stream stutters, so the video gets your computer's attention.
Questions
How many Twitch streams can I watch at once?
Up to four in one window, each at least the size Twitch asks for (400 by 300). If the window is too small for that, YappyChat says so instead of shrinking them.
Is it free?
Yes. Watching streams, every chat and every moderation tool are free.
Do ads still play?
Ads play as they would on twitch.tv. On channels you subscribe to, Twitch skips them once the player is signed in, which happens when you log in to YappyChat.
